It is reported that cricketer Sreesanth will be acting in latest malayalam movie Mazhavillinattam vare. This film is directed by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboodiri, who is a noted poet, lyricist, music director etc. Sreesanth will be in the role of cricket coach and this role was earlier considered for Pakistan cricketer Muhammad Hafis.

Abbas Hassan and Archana Jose Kavi are on the lead roles. This is the fourth malayalam film of Archana Jose Kavi. Abbas Hassan is a French-Asian pop artist and he is based in UK. This is the debut film for Abbas Hassan.

In this movie, former Indian cricketers like Roger Binny, Kapil Dev and Syed Kirmani can be seen as themselves.


The film's shooting is on the go and the release date for Mazhavillinattam Vare will be in September 2011. This is a story of a Pakistani cricket player and a young girl who is a big fan of him.

Sai Kumar, Salim Kumar, Madhu, Nedumudi Venu etc are also a part of this film. This film is the directorial debut of Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, who otherwise active in music, lyrics, singing etc.
