She is the new craze for the movie lovers. She is mistaken as grand-daughter of noted politician Ram Jethmalani. But she is the grand-daughter of businessman Late Shyam Jethmalani.
Her debut film was a Telugu film - Premikulu. Eventhough kamna Jetmalani's first film flopped, her second film Ranam was a big hit.
Her first Tamil film was Idhaya Thirudan with Jayam Ravi. She did an item number in the film Sainikudu. She has recently signed for Machakaaran opposite Jeevan. In 2011 she had a guest appearance in Malayalam movie Makeupman alongwith Jayaram. Her latest tamil film is Kasethan Kadavulada and the shooting is in progress.
