Trisha actress biography - Trisha Krishnan was born on 4th May 1983 in Chennai (Madras). Her family was originally from Palakkad, Kerala. Trisha Krishnan completed her schooling in Chennai.

Trisha Krishnan started her modelling career first and later she entered into film industry. In earlier days Trisha Krishnan was seen many famous television advertisements.

In 2009 she won Miss Chennai award and this made a big break in her acting career.

She was first seen onscreen in Jody alongwith Actress Simran. After that she accepted Priyadarshan's Lesa Lesa, but the release of this film delayed. So Maunam Pesiyadhe is considered as her debut film.

Trisha Krishnan's first bollywood film is Khatta Meetha alongwith Akshay Kumar. This film was directed by Priyadarshan.
